CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY

Photographing artists during their gig is a major challenge. You need control over dynamics in light, movement and environment. This requires that you know all the technical possibilities of your camera and apply blindly in practice. Often you will reach the limits of your camera. Beyond that you get often very little time to photograph. It is often a race against the clock, which is a game for Daan.

Daan shoots regularly for the magazine New Folk Sounds, a magazine of folk and world music.
