NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY

The metamorphosis of the landscape through the night is a great inspiration for Daan. He regularly go on the road in the middle of night, preferably on his bike because he can let sink in the surrounding area and he can take a reasonable distance to discover photogenic locations.

Night photography is seen as one of the hardest disciplines within the photography. It is difficult to frame with low light, the contrast between light and dark is extremely high, the colours are often abnormal, there is a large chance of blur and certain functions of the camera work inadequate. In addition, there are many post-editing necessary. So, a big challenge that makes Daan happy.
